Prices will be steep, considering it’s a small-ish town in North Idaho. While you might be able to get last-minute prices, you’ll do much better booking your stay far in advance to get the most competitive rate.

The rooms are gorgeous, and the hotel always offers fun experiences, such as a winter light show, hot chocolate cruises, eagle watching, and more.

It is perfect for anyone looking for a romantic getaway or families who want fun activities nearby. For families, there are two parks within walking distance from the hotel!

We stayed in Coeur d’Alene in the winter when their outdoor pool became a large hot tub. It’s fantastic, and we highly recommend it.

TIP: If you can splurge on a lake-view room, you should definitely do so. The views are fantastic.

This is an ideal choice if you don’t care about being right in the city center and just need a place to sleep. We stayed there and were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast. They even offered free dinner for kids at their on-site restaurant at the time! The hotel has an indoor pool, a hot tub, and a fitness center.

While the hotel isn’t located in the most picturesque area (right off the highway), it’s more affordable and only an 8-minute drive to the city center.
