Big news…we survived a timeshare presentation. Have you done one before? Last week, we went to Myrtle Beach, where we received a four-night stay for free IF we agreed to listen to a two-hour sales pitch. ⁣⁣ 68 16
We made it to Shenandoah National Park! Shenandoah is a national park that’s all about it big views and abundant waterfalls. We visited last week, and while it was lovely, if I were going to suggest a time, it would have to be summer for the swimming holes and autumn for the otherworldly fall hues. ⁣⁣⁣ 69 6
Have you stayed in a tiny cabin before? If you haven’t, we can’t recommend enough a stay at @getawayhouse. Last week we spent a few days at one of their dreamy cabins near Shenandoah National Park with our four-year-old, and we had the most regenerative, fantastic time together.⁣ 76 16
When we first visited/lived in Boise in early 2020, we saw signs all over Downtown Boise counting down the days until the annual @treefortfest. We quickly looked it up to see what this whole Treefort thing was all about. We were instantly smitten to see it’s a quirky and creative music festival with all kinds of forts that cover everything from live music, local food and beer, movement and dance, film screenings, music talks, live podcasts, tech expos, and more. There’s even a kid-themed fort!⁣ 88 2
It is my greatest desire to go on a safari one day to see animals in their natural element. It might be #1 on my bucket list. ⁣ 86 10
Can you guess what we loved most about Joshua Tree National Park?⁣ 80 7
