How we winter in Sandpoint. ❄️⛷ 61 5
Glacier in the winter was one of the most magical experiences of my life. Should you visit it in the winter? Yes, if you love a winter wonderland and are comfortable being an independent traveler. You can snowshoe, cross-country ski, or winter hike your way around this natural wonder. There will be very few people there, so enjoy the silence and come prepared. 49 6
On December 5, I said my final goodbye to my beautiful mom. Two months ago, she went to the ER with a bloodstream infection and left with a stage IV pancreatic cancer diagnosis. The last two months have been brutal, and dropping into the details and feelings of it is…unbearable. 170 55
Did you know Idaho has a treasure trove of scenic byways to explore? The Wild Horse Scenic Trail Byway is a stunning drive that starts in Sandpoint, Idaho, and ends at the border of Canada. The drive is beautiful all year but particularly scenic in late Spring and Fall. Attractions include Lake Pend Oreille, the Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge, Sandpoint, and Bonners Ferry. 986 31
Hi. 👋🏼 We took an extended break from the gram to bust our butts and WORK. It was a busy summer of work travel, house building, article writing, and content creation for brand partners. The highlight of our nonstop summer? Going to Silverwood Theme Park with family and eating cotton candy. I’m a cotton candy fanatic, and now I’ve roped my son into my sweet pink cravings. He says to me…my favorite thing we did this summer was eat cotton candy. I can’t argue with that. 89 19
